Working Philosophy

We do not want to take on new clients unless we know we can provide something of value. A lot of time goes into initial conversations and even inspections just so we can tell if a client even needs us. Prospective clients shouldn't be charged so we can find out if we can help them.

We have learned some valuable lessons by managing timberland for over 55 years:

• All client affairs need to be kept strictly confidential.
• It is in our, and our clients', best interest to be straightforward in all our business dealings.
• We cannot advocate for one member of a client group over another member.
• Our relations with our clients, with vendors, and with markets need to be based upon the premise of 'mutual trade for mutual benefit': Unless the interests of all parties in a transaction have been addressed to each party's satisfaction, the relationship will not last.
