Legal Conflict Resolution

Occasionally ownership of land creates or involves legal conflicts that have to be resolved. Four of the most common are:

  1. Access – ingress and egress into property
  2. Adverse possession – challenging the claims of others as to ownership
  3. Preventing and prosecuting timber and or land theft
  4. Issues of title – researching and clearing chains of title

Our primary goal is to first resolve these issues before they reach costly court or attorney battles, and most of the time these efforts are successful. Doing so means getting a thorough grasp of the issues and the ownership and land history. It often means negotiating a settlement amongst the parties. It always means coming to the table completely prepared.
